Overview
As the decade draws to a close, preparations for the 2020 Census are beginning to escalate. The Census is a critical even for Wisconsin and it is important that local governments are prepared to generate a complete and accurate count of the population. The purpose of the 2020 census is to provide up-to-date statistics on the demographic of your community and to determine future redistricting and representative apportionment. For these reasons, it is important to make sure every citizen is counted. The best way to make sure all citizens are counted as well as to increase public engagement is through the creation of a Complete Count Committee (CCC) with a goal of counting all community members, even those typically hard to count. Below are informative resources about the Census as well as how to start a CCC.
