What is a Webinar?
A Webinar is a live program offered by the Local Government Education at the University of Wisconsin Madison-Extension that you attend using your home or office computer, tablet, or mobile phone.
How Does a Webinar Work?
To register online, follow the link in the program information or complete the registration.
After registering, you will receive an email with the Zoom connection link to attend the Webinar. The email will also include a PDF attachment of supporting materials. You may either print the supporting materials ahead of time or open the attachment during the Webinar to follow along on your device.
The day of the program, about ten minutes before the program’s start, click on the Zoom link you received, and Zoom will connect you to the Webinar.
If you do not have Internet access that allows connection to the webinar, phone access is provided. There may be charges associated with your phone service if you connect by phone.
