Clean Groundwater and Well Water in Rural and Suburban Wisconsin Communities, Part 2

Part 2 will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2020, 12:00 – 1:15 p.m. This program will identify the unique geological features predisposing Wisconsin communities to ground- and well water contamination.  It will also describe the voluntary programs that communities and individuals may access through the Division of Extension to identify and mitigate groundwater contamination problems.  Speakers are Maureen Muldoon, Ph.D., Hydrogeologist, Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey and UW-Madison Division of Extension, Kevin Masarik, M.A., Groundwater Education Specialist at the Center for Watershed Science and Education, UW-Stevens Point and UW-Madison Division of Extension, and Kathleen Haas, M.A., Associate Professor and Community Development Educator for Columbia County and Community Development Institute in the UW-Madison Division of Extension.  Each program costs $30 and requires pre-registration.
