Sagar Awate has spent nearly a decade in project management as a consultant, employee, vendor, and contractor. He has also worked for various state agencies as well as in the private sector (consulting, insurance, finance, marketing, and sales). He is experienced in Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile methodologies.
Lindsay Bessick is an organizational development specialist with the City of Madison with more than 15 years of experience in learning and development, organizational change management, and consulting.
Allison Cooley is founder and CEO of Effectability, LLC. Allison’s unique approach to leadership development, performance coaching and organization development builds key capabilities in leadership, communication, conflict management, and emotional intelligence that ultimately form positive cultures and create high performing teams.
Phillip Freeburg is a local government law educator in the Local Government Center of UW-Extension, Cooperative Extension. He specializes in the powers and duties of local government bodies and officials, local government law, and open meetings and records, as well as ethics and conflicts of interest. Teaches: The Public Official in Court; Working with Councils, Boards & Commissions.
Bryan Gadow serves as the City of Monona’s City Administrator and Economic Development Director. He previously served as the Village Administrator for the Village of New Glarus, and is a Wisconsin Certified Public Manager.
Tim Garczynski is the Water Distribution Operations Manager with the Milwaukee Water Works. Tim focuses on quality improvement, organizational excellence and performance measurement. Tim is also an American Society for Quality-Certified Manager of Quality/ Organizational Excellence and is a Wisconsin Certified Public Manager.
Kyle Henderson leads information design and publishing at UW-Madison’s DoIT Communications. He began his career as a copywriter and has more than 20 years’ experience editing digital and print publications. He has a master’s in communication and is an expert in writing for influence.
Patrick Jackson is assistant dean for academic affairs for UW-Madison’s School of Human Ecology. His areas of expertise include student services, team development, conflict resolution, data-driven problem-solving, data analytics, human resources policies and procedures, and business acumen for private and public entities.
Annie Jones is a Professor, Organization Development and Tribal Nations Specialist with the UW-Madison, Division of Extension. She brings over two decades of experience with working with local governments and organizations to engage the public in visioning and participation processes.
Courtney Reed Jenkins is co-leader of the Disproportionality Technical Assistance Network, and has spent two decades working in nonprofits and government eliminating institutional barriers to success for underserved students. She has conducted federal and state civil rights investigations for the State of Wisconsin; managed equity-focused systems-change initiatives in Colorado, Idaho, Iowa and Wisconsin; and serves on the management team for the Wisconsin Department of Instruction.
Lauren Kuhl has worked most of her career in a variety of government roles, currently as a Policy Analyst with the Dane County Board. Lauren is a Wisconsin Certified Public Manager.
Kay Lawrence has over 25 years of experience in the areas of environmental education, public policy, human services, strategic planning, project management, leadership, and professional development. Kay has also worked in the areas of wellness and employee assistance. She has a Certificate of Training from UW-Milwaukee and was the training director, employee assistance program director, and wellness coordinator at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction for 20 years.
Michael Leitz is a training specialist with Accent Learning and Consulting in Stoughton, WI. Michael specializes in time management, generations in the workplace, executive coaching, leadership development, and understanding team dynamics, including how to work through conflict for personal and organizational success.
ananda mirilli is the executive director of nINA Collective, an enterprise dedicated to supporting organizations, institutions, and individuals as they advance their change process and racial equity initiatives. A native of Brazil, ananda has a long history of working with communities in the U.S. and abroad, and is the grant director to address racial disproportionality in special education for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
Abbie Norderhaug is the assistant state archivist at the Wisconsin Historical Society, leading a team responsible collecting and making available state and local government records. Abbie is a two term ARMA Madison board member.
Cheryl Oliva is the former purchasing director for the City of Milwaukee, where she designed and implemented efficiencies in the procurement process. She currently works as an independent management consultant specializing in organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
John Reinemann is a Wisconsin Certified Public Manager and a veteran of Wisconsin government. He has worked for the legislature, the Executive Branch, and a statewide association, and has experience as a lobbyist. He has served on several state boards, commissions, and task forces, and from 2011 until 2019 served as state agency head at the Wisconsin Higher Educational Aids Board.
Jeff Russell is codirector of Russell Consulting, where he helps organizations successfully respond to the challenges of continuous change with a focus on leadership development, strategic thinking, leading change, understanding and dealing with behavioral styles, and performance management.
Avrie Schott is a Captain with the La Crosse Police Department, currently assigned to the Professional Standards/Community Services Bureau. She specializes in management assessment for professional and personal development and is a Wisconsin Certified Public Manager.
Guy VanRensselaer has spent more than three decades in performance excellence, leading projects for nearly every City of Madison department, and providing consultant services in strategic planning, customer research, performance measurement, change management, and organizational alignment.
