Illinois-Wisconsin CPM Hybrid Cohort 2024-2026

We are pleased to announce that UW-Madison, Extension, in partnership with UI-Chicago’s Government Finance Research Center, will begin the next Certified Public Manager® program to start March 21, 2024 both virtually and in-person in Bristol, WI. Upon successful completion, you will receive a CPM Certificate signed by the Governor and University Chancellor. The Cohort program will be hybrid, allowing you to participate both in-person and virtually, to allow you maximum flexibility to earn the CPM designation.

In-person classes will be held at the Kenosha County Center at 19600 75th Street in Bristol, WI. This location provides easy interstate access and a state-of-art meeting room. All IL-WI-CPM Cohort classes will meet the third Thursday and Friday of each month from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm, including breaks. The first month (March 2024) and the last three months (June/July/August 2026) of classes will be in–person, the other classes will be a hybrid approach, allowing students to participate in-person or virtually.

The IL-WI-CPM Cohort cost is $4,600.00, inclusive. Payable as a lump sum payment or an agreed-upon payment plan designed to fit your employer’s education reimbursement policy. For tuition, and payment plan questions, email Amanda Lang at amanda.lang@wisc.edu to discuss.
