New CPM Hybrid Cohort beginning October 2024
We are pleased to announce that UW-Madison, Extension plans to offer the next Wisconsin Certified Public Manager® program starting October 22, 2024. The Cohort program will be hybrid, allowing you to participate both in-person and virtually, to allow you maximum opportunity to earn the CPM designation. The Cohort’s October class will be in-person, and then move to a full hybrid teaching approach moving forward.

County Officials Workshops
County Officials Workshops Following the spring elections in even numbered years, UW-Extension’s Local Government Center and the Wisconsin Counties Association co-sponsor day-long workshops to orient both new and continuing county officials, at several locations around the state.

EMS Model Agreement
The Local Government Education Program at U.W.-Madison Division of Extension teamed up with the U.W.-Madison Wisconsin Office for Rural Health to prepare a Model EMS Agreement (Agreement) for use by counties, cities, villages and towns across the state.

2024 Board of Review (BOR) Training
Wisconsin law requires that in 2024, before the First Two-hour Meeting, at least one member of the BOR must attend a training session approved by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue within one year of the BOR’s first meeting.
