The project for the 2021 – 2023 cohort of the Certified Public Manager (CPM) program was focused on recognizing public service employees and raising awareness of public service careers. Our goal was to create a toolkit in a user-friendly format so that participating entities could easily customize their outreach and communications. The toolkit contains items such as email templates, graphics, scripts, and distribution plans. Our hope is that this toolkit can be used in conjunction with Public Service Recognition Week, the first week of May annually (sponsored by the Partnership for Public Service) to aid in the recruitment and retention of employees.
